Taco Bell is giving out free Doritos Locos tacos. Here’s how to claim yours

The 2021 World Series is well underway, and if the matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros goes to a Game 7, it’ll last until Nov. 3.

Which means, depending on your team, Nov. 4 could be a rough day. But it doesn’t have to be all bad: Taco Bell is giving out free Doritos Locos tacos.

The chain recently declared Atlanta Braves’ second baseman Ozzie Albies as this year’s “Taco Hero.” Albies stole second base in the first inning of Game 1, allowing Taco Bell to officially move forward with its “Steal a Base, Steal a Taco” promotion, USA Today reported.

That means free Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos for everyone — as long as supplies last, according to a news release sent to the Deseret News.

How to claim your World Series free taco

There are a few ways to claim your free taco on Nov. 4:

  • Taco Bell Rewards members can go ahead and redeem their free taco now via the app or online, according to a news release.
  • Customers will also be able to get their free taco all day on Nov. 4 either in-store, through Taco Bell’s website or via its app.
  • The giveaway — now in its 10th year — is scheduled for all day Nov. 4.
  • No purchase is necessary to claim your free taco, but there is a limit of one per person, USA Today reported.
